The Siemens SITRANS F M MAG 5100 W is an electromagnetic flow sensor for all water and wastewater applications, and is recognised by many water authorities as the best mag flow meter to monitor your trade waste water sent to sewer.
In most cases, if you have a commercial operation and are sending water to sewer, you are obliged to monitor and record the amount of water, amonst other parameters.
The 5100 W with its EPDM liner, Hastelloy electrodes and carbon steel housing is suitable for direct burial and constant flooding. The 5100W is usually coupled to or connected remotely to the MAG 5000 or MAG 6000 transmitter, which are designed to offer high performance, easy operation, and reduced maintenance. The transmitters are robust and if mounted outdoors have an optional sun cover available. The MAG 5000 has a measuring accuracy of ± 0.4% whereas the MAG 6000 has a measuring accuracy of ± 0.2% of the flow rate and can be fitted with optional plug-in communication modules. For remote mounting add the remote mounting and cable kits.
